A man in his 60s was taken to the hospital last night (30 Oct) after a motorcycle he was riding along Pan Island Expressway (PIE) slipped out of control and crashed due to inclement weather.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened at around 9pm and photos show the injured motorcyclist lying on the ground. Several members of the public stepped forward to provide support for the injured man and some good Samaritans even helped to divert traffic.

The police has revealed that it was alerted to the incident around 9:05pm and that the motorcylist was taken to hospital in a conscious condition.

Police investigations are ongoing.
