A Scoot flight from Kota Kinabalu, the capital of Sabah, Malaysia, to Singapore was forced to land on the Indonesian island of Batam due to bad weather during the flight.
According to flight tracking website FlightAware, the TR493 Scoot flight was delayed and took off at 8:43pm on Sunday (30 Oct), about an hour later than the original time.
The flight was originally expected to arrive in Singapore at around 10:35, but according to passengers on board, the flight diverted to Batam for an emergency landing due to poor weather conditions.
All passengers remained in the cabin during the emergency landing and after a waiting period of about two hours, the flight took off again around 12:35 in the morning and continued onwards to Singapore.
